Cork & Rubber Work Wheels
The åtto range of Cork and Rubber bonded Work wheels are designed to offer longer life, better finishes and less dressing.
Unlike resin and vitrified wheels Rubber bonded work wheels offer a more elastic and resilient bond, thus giving a better finish compared with the same grit sizes in other bonding systems. The elastic rubber bond offers extended wheel life and less dressing where finish is important. Our Cork wheels utilize a similar bonding system so giving all the advantages of the rubber bond and improving the surface finish.
åtto Cork and Rubber Work wheels are available to combine as sectioned wheels – thus allowing you to achieve the required stock removal and finish in a single pass. For example, on a twin grip Centreless application we can offer a 36 grit roughing section in Rubber, followed by a 60 grit semi finishing section and a final 120 grit Cork section for finishing. Grades are readily available for a wide variety of materials, including Titanium, Inconel and Stainless steel.
